Living Word was born in the midst of a storm…literally! God spoke to our pastor on March 6, 2019 (3 days before the Corona Virus halted life as we know it!) to step out in faith and start a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church that will focus on knowing Him by studying His word, communing with Him through corporate and individual prayer and fellowship! Never forsaking getting together…in our homes, at church, coffee shops, restaurants or anywhere else God commands us to be!

In a year when it was almost impossible to get together, LWC met regularly, in person every Sunday! We met in homes, we met in closed buildings and even in parking lots to not ‘do’ church but to BE THE CHURCH!

This is who we are! It’s that important to us to be in regular fellowship with God and with each other!

MISSION AND PURPOSE

Our mission as a church can be summed up simply: “Loving God. Loving People.” We’re devoted to seeking God and serving people. Church is about faith expressing itself through love. It’s more than just attending meetings; it’s about sharing life. We believe that church is meant to be relational, and we’re committed to being connected in authentic relationships – giving to and receiving from one another – and working together to share God’s love with the world. Each person has a part to play, contributing his or her gifts and talents to the whole so that Jesus is glorified.
