Statements of Faith
- WHAT DO WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE BIBLE?
- We believe that the entire Bible is he inspired Word of God and that men “were moved by the Holy Spirit” to write the very words of scripture. It is inerrant in its original manuscripts. That they alone constitute the divine rule of Christian faith and practice.
- WHAT DO WE BELIEVE ABOUT GOD?
- We believe there is only one God, who is infinitely perfect, the father of Jesus Christ and the first person of the trinity.
- WHAT DO WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE TRINITY?
- We believe that the one true God exists in three distinct persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) undivided in essence and co-equal in power and glory.
- WHAT DO WE BELIEVE ABOUT JESUS?
- We believe that Jesus Christ, the son of God, is both 100% God and 100% man.
- WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE ABOUT SALVATION?
- We believe that because of our first parents disobedience, all mankind is born into sin and in need of a savior. Because Jesus suffered and died on the cross, atonement was made for the whole world so that whosoever will may be saved.
- We believe that salvation comes through repentance towards God, faith in Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that continuance in a state of salvation depends on a right relationship with Jesus and continued obedient faith in Him.
- WHAT DO WE BELIEVE ABOUT HOLINESS?
- We believe that the ‘spirit part’ of your life can so come to dominate the human nature that you love God and others with ease and overcome temptation with ease, which is to be wholly sanctified and preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- WHAT DO WE BELIEVE ABOUT ETERNITY?
- We believe that man has an immortal soul, that will be judged at the end of the world. The righteous will receive eternal happiness and the wicked, endless punishment.
